Workshop “Financial instruments for local development” in Krasnosilska amalgamated territorial community

The event was organized by the Agency’s team to strengthen the capacity of the community’s executive staff and heads of communal enterprises.

Tetiana Uzhviy, Head of the Agency’s Investment Office, spoke about the current projects supported by the Agency, emphasized the importance of high-quality documentation and the involvement of various stakeholders to promote and address community priorities. Separately, they discussed community projects presented on the DREAM platform.

Ivanna Laskuriychuk, Head of the Grant Office, spoke about open grant programs for local governments and other financial instruments that should be considered and used to implement important initiatives.

They also discussed the main components of a typical grant application and shared life hacks for preparing a quality project proposal.

Daria Ilchenko, Head of the Office for European Integration, presented the opportunities offered by European cross-border cooperation programs for the development of intermunicipal partnerships and the study of best European practices.

The practical block on communication and cooperation was conducted by Anastasia Korota, an expert on strategic development of organizations and project management trainer. The training participants improved their skills in establishing communications between different institutions within the community, learned to negotiate and jointly plan important territorial development programs.
