Working meeting of the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine
On November 8, 2024, representatives of the Regional Development Agency of Odesa Region took part in an important working meeting of the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine, together with the UCORD project (Ukrainian Cooperation with Regional Development Organizations), to identify strategic priorities for 2024-2025.
During the discussions, Oleksiy Ryabikin, Deputy Minister of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine, and Serhiy Soroka, Director of the Strategic Planning Department, raised key issues:
- Priority areas of the Agency’s activities for 2024-2025
- The role and functions of the Agency in public policy
- Increasing the efficiency of regional strategies implementation
- Supporting Regional Development Agencies for their contribution to local development
RDAs are becoming not just intermediaries, but drivers of change, capable of ensuring sustainable economic growth in each region. Their role is to implement local policies, attract investment, and create new development opportunities, even in today’s challenging environment.
This ambitious course is not only a challenge, but also a huge responsibility for the future of our communities. Together we are creating a strong Ukraine!
The participants also discussed the possibilities of the DREAM project, which will promote partnerships with communities and help implement innovative solutions at the local level.
