Regional stakeholder meeting within the SafeSkills project

Regional Development Agency of Odesa Region held a working meeting with stakeholders from Odesa State University of Internal Affairs as part of the Safe Skills project.

The meeting was attended by Yana Prenko, Head of the International Cooperation Department, and Dmytro Lisnichenko, Acting Head of the Department of Criminal Law and Procedure, Research Laboratory for Current Issues of Criminal Analysis, PhD in Law, Associate Professor.

The presentation of the cybersecurity laboratory as a practical platform for training and capacity building in the field of security is in the focus of attention.

Key issues of the meeting

During the meeting, the following issues were discussed:
  • the main activities of the laboratory, including criminal analysis, OSINT and cybersecurity
  • use of modern tools, including digital analytics and VR technologies
  • the potential of the laboratory in the framework of international cooperation, in particular in the Safe Skills project
  • development of professional skills and training of security professionals

Particular attention was paid to the practical approach to the laboratory’s work – a combination of education, research, and interaction with specialized units.
