U-Nation Startup & Innovation conference. When ideas become reality!

The Regional Development Agency of Odesa Region partnered with U-Nation to hold an innovation conference that brought together more than 400 participants: representatives of business, the public sector, international experts and investors. The event was organized by our reliable partner and Agency’s ambassador, Yan Shapiro, and the U-Nation community, which opens up new opportunities for Ukrainian startups.

One of the key topics of the event was the role of innovations and startups in restoring Ukraine’s economy to modern standards. Sergiy Kononenko, Director of the Agency, spoke on this topic, emphasizing the importance of state support and regional development of the startup ecosystem.

For the first time this year, 11 accelerator teams presented their projects, demonstrating not only innovative solutions but also their willingness to scale and attract investment. They worked on projects covering financial technology, artificial intelligence, environmental solutions, and digital platforms. The accelerator participants went from an idea to concrete business solutions, received mentoring support from leading experts, and presented their startups to potential investors.

Participants had the opportunity to hear speeches from the team of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, international experts, and business leaders.
