IT Wave One-Day Business Conference: results and new challenges for Odesa’s IT industry

Despite the difficult challenges of recent years, the Ukrainian IT industry remains a reliable pillar of the economy during the war.

on January 24, 2025, Odesa hosted the 10th anniversary IT Wave One-Day Business Conference, an event that has brought together dozens of IT companies and hundreds of specialists from the Odesa region over the past three years to share experiences, adapt to crises, and find new opportunities for the development of the IT sector in Odesa region communities.

At the event, the Odesa IT Family Research 3.0 joint project initiative was presented. The agency has been cooperating with the Odesa IT-family for the second year on the Odesa IT Family Research 2023-2024 project initiative, which analyzes the state of the IT market during the war and the prospects for its further development.

The research data shapes the economy, business, and technology of Odesa region, which will allow the results to be used for

  • strategic planning of territorial communities in Odesa region;
  • identification of new growth points for the region within the framework of the SFDRR;
  • support digital transformation and innovation for economic stability.
