Odesa – a platform for Ukrainian-Polish economic partnership
The Regional Development Agency of Odesa Region co-organized a large-scale business forum held jointly with the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH). The event brought together more than 150 representatives of Ukrainian and Polish business, government agencies, international institutions and expert communities.
Ukraine and Poland already have a strong history of partnership in trade, transportation, agriculture, and energy. Today, we are moving to a new level – from mutually beneficial exchange to the creation of a future architecture for economic security and regional growth.
Odesa region is a strategic region with ports, logistics corridors, production sites and energy infrastructure. In each of these areas, we see points of contact with Polish partners – from infrastructure projects and modernization of utilities to the introduction of green technologies and the development of industrial parks.

The team of the Regional Development Agency of Odesa Region presented the Catalog of Public Investment Projects of Odesa Oblast – these are real initiatives of cities and communities ready for cooperation:
- modernization of water utilities;
- energy-efficient schools and hospitals;
- logistics hubs;
- industrial parks and other regional infrastructure facilities.



At the panel “Construction, the role of industry in the reconstruction process”, the Agency was represented by Tetiana Uzhviy, Head of the Agency’s Investment Office. She presented a map of Odesa region’s investment potential and investment needs in infrastructure, housing, industrial and municipal construction, and emphasized the potential of Polish companies to participate in the reconstruction.
The second day of the business mission’s visit included practical meetings and familiarization with the potential of Odesa Oblast. Vyzyr community: TIS is the No. 1 port in Ukraine, an outpost of the transport and logistics industry in Odesa region, Neptune is one of the largest and deepest grain terminals in Ukraine and the Black Sea region. Global Ocean Link is the market leader in multimodal and intermodal container transportation in Ukraine.
We also had a conversation with the head of the village council and a dialogue about new industrial parks, the construction of the Vyzyr city, and much more. The guests visited our wonderful partners – Paritet Odesa, a key manufacturer of windows and facade structures in the South of Ukraine.
