Ukraine at Moldova Business Week 2025: investments, partnerships and development of Odesa region

The Regional Development Agency of Odesa Region co-organized Moldova Business Week 2025, the region’s main economic forum, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. The Odesa delegation was represented by Valentyn Bohaychuk, consultant of the European Integration Office of the Regional Development Agency, who presented the opportunities of the Odesa region and its strategic role in the development of international investment projects.

Our team paid special attention to the real estate forum, where, together with Anatolii Artemenko, Advisor to the Head of the Odesa Regional State Administration, and Largos, a partner of the agro-industrial real estate agency, we participated in a panel discussion on Regional Real Estate opportunities with Craig Smith, CEO of EuropaProperty Publications & Events, and Alexandru Cracium, Director of Government Relations and Public Affairs in Eastern Europe (GRPA). The agency emphasized the investment potential of Odesa region, focusing on:

  • new opportunities within the Trans-European Transport Network TEN-T;
  • the strategic importance of the Danube corridor and the ports of Reni and Izmail;
  • prospects for joint Ukrainian-Moldovan-Romanian projects;
  • inland dry ports with strong development potential.

This year, more than 700 participants – investors, business leaders, and government officials – gathered in Chisinau. The key decision of the first day was the signing of a Memorandum on the launch of the Chisinau Stock Exchange in partnership with the Bucharest Stock Exchange and local investors. This event symbolizes not only financial integration but also new opportunities for the development of joint regional markets.

For Odesa region, such events are not only about partnership, but also about promoting our region as a key platform for investment, logistics and agricultural real estate.

We are confident: The Danube Region will become a driving force for economic development, capable of providing a new level of cooperation between Ukraine, Moldova and Romania.

The Regional Development Agency of Odesa Region receives institutional support from the Swiss-Ukrainian project “Cohesion and Regional Development of Ukraine”, the UCORD Project, which is implemented with the support of Switzerland through the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, by NIRAS Sweden AB.
