Exchange of experience to strengthen local self-government

on November 28, a delegation from the Dnipro City Council paid an official visit to Odesa as part of the Local Government Exchange Program implemented by the International Republican Institute with support from USAID.

Representatives of the Regional Development Agency of Odesa Region were honored to meet the guests and share their best practices in the following areas

  • local infrastructure development
  • investment attraction
  • implementation of projects of regional significance

The delegation also got acquainted with the best practices of the Odesa City Council in the areas of transport, urban planning, education, youth policy, and support for the military. This exchange was an important step in strengthening the partnership between the cities and discussing future joint projects.
