Strengthening international partnerships
The Regional Development Agency of Odesa Region hosted a delegation of the Czech-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, represented by Michaela Macharik Czech-Ukrainian Chamber and Markus Čupek.
Olena Ivanova, Head of the Office for Work with Territorial Communities, attended the meeting on behalf of the Agency. Anna Khokholkova, Head of Foreign Economic Relations at the Odesa Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry, also joined the discussion.
During the meeting, the parties agreed to deepen cooperation in the following areas
- promoting sustainable economic development of Ukraine and Odesa region;
- expansion of international partnership and intensification of interaction between the business communities of Ukraine and the Czech Republic;
- development of trade and economic relations and support of export-import operations;
- attracting investments and implementing joint projects in the region.
Particular attention was paid to planning future business and business missions, as well as developing new programs and initiatives that can be implemented between Ukraine and the Czech Republic, particularly in the Odesa region.
An important outcome of the meeting was the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Regional Development Agency of Odesa Region and the Czech-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry as a logical continuation of partnership and a common vision of economic relations between our countries. This step was the result of the Agency’s systematic work at the international level and, in particular, the continuation of our team’s activities during the representation of Odesa region in Prague, participation in representative business events, meetings with Czech institutions, which laid the foundation for further deepening cooperation.






The Agency continues to actively develop international cooperation, creating new opportunities for business, investment and community development, and strengthens the position of Odesa region as a reliable partner on the European economic map.
