Odesa Region Recovery Forum: Transformation. Recovery. Rehabilitation.

on July 7, Odesa hosted the Odesa Recovery Forum “Transformation. Recovery. Rehabilitation”, the second event in the south of Ukraine on the restoration and post-war development of medical services in the region.

The Forum was organized by the Regional Development Agency of Odesa Region, the Ministry of Community, Territorial and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine, the Odesa Oblast State (Military) Administration and the Odesa Oblast Council. The event was held with the support of the USAID GOVERLA Project, which is actively involved in the recovery and reconstruction of Odesa Oblast.

Among the speakers at the Forum were representatives of state and local authorities, experts from international and civil society organizations, and business.

KEY ISSUES DISCUSSED AT THE EVENT:

  • The potential of Odesa Oblast to organize an effective system of medical and rehabilitation care;
  • Health improvement and rehabilitation: accessibility of services;
  • Odesa region as an investment-attractive region and center for rehabilitation and health improvement.
