Odesa Region and the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce: New Opportunities for Business Cooperation

A working meeting was held between the Agency’s team and representatives of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, one of Turkey’s largest business organizations, which brings together tens of thousands of companies and plays an important role in the development of trade and economic ties.

Discussions on Opportunities for Cooperation

During the talks, the parties discussed opportunities to showcase the economic, investment, and entrepreneurial potential of the Odesa region to Turkish businesses. In particular, they discussed holding a specialized presentation on the region’s enterprises, investment projects, and promising areas of cooperation with the support of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The main goal of the upcoming event is to create a direct platform for communication between Ukrainian enterprises and potential Turkish partners, and to showcase the Odesa region’s opportunities in the fields of industry, agricultural processing, logistics, infrastructure, manufacturing, and other strategic sectors.

During the meeting, organizational issues regarding the event were also discussed, in particular the optimal timing and format of the event, which will allow for the most effective presentation of the region’s potential and ensure the participation of interested representatives of the Turkish business community.

The Importance of International Partnerships for the Agency

For the Regional Development Agency of Odesa Region, international partnership means not only establishing contacts but also creating concrete mechanisms to attract investment, develop entrepreneurship, and implement projects that will contribute to the region’s economic recovery.

The Odesa region has significant potential as a strategic and economic center of Ukraine, with a strong industrial base, transportation infrastructure, access to the Black Sea, and a high level of integration into international trade routes.
