The Regional Development Agency of Odesa Region participated in the Ukraine Resilience Business Forum: International Partnerships and Investments for Community Development
The team from the Regional Development Agency of Odesa Region participated in the Ukraine Resilience Business Forum, which, for the fourth consecutive year, has brought together governments, businesses, investors, and international institutions to address issues related to Ukraine’s recovery, economic cooperation, and community development.
The forum serves as an important platform for fostering international cooperation among communities, attracting investment to Ukraine’s regions, and forming new partnerships to enhance the economic resilience of these regions.
An International Platform for Partnerships and Investment
The forum is organized by the Luxembourg-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce with the support of the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce and traditionally brings together representatives of European governments, municipalities, international organizations, financial institutions, and businesses from Ukraine and Europe.
The Regional Development Agency of Odesa Region served as the event’s communications partner, supporting the dissemination of information about opportunities for international cooperation, attracting investment, and the development of communities in the Odesa region.
Participation of an Agency Representative in a Panel Discussion
This year, the Agency was represented by Valentin Bohaychuk, a specialist from the Office of European Integration, who participated in the panel discussion titled “Municipal Resilience: Investing in Local Communities and Partnership Results.”
During the panel, participants discussed key issues regarding the development of Ukrainian communities during the war and future recovery, including:
- investment in municipalities and social infrastructure
- enhancing the resilience of local communities
- developing municipal partnerships
- expanding cooperation networks between regions and cities
Such discussions lead to practical solutions for Ukraine’s recovery and community development.
Investment Tools for the Development of the Odesa Region
During the forum, key instruments developed by the Agency for Regional Development and Investment Attraction were presented:
- Odesa Region Investment Passport
- Odesa Region Public Investment Catalog
- Odesa Region Craft Products Catalog
These tools are designed to promote the region’s investment opportunities, support local businesses, and foster community economic development.
International Cooperation as the Foundation for Community Recovery
The experience of such international forums confirms that a significant portion of the partnerships that are now yielding concrete results were initiated precisely during such meetings.
Each year, an ever-expanding international network of participants joins the Ukraine Resilience Business Forum platform, fostering the formation of new partnerships for community and regional development.
