The agency is joining the Clusters4Regions Cluster Management School
The Regional Development Agency of Odesa Region is actively participating in training sessions organized by the Clusters4Regions Cluster Management School—an initiative aimed at developing modern approaches to cluster development as a tool for regional economic growth.
The training focuses on developing practical cluster management skills: from formulating value propositions for clusters and working with business services to building effective collaboration between businesses, communities, academia, and government agencies. For the Agency’s team, this is not just theory but a practical toolkit that can be directly integrated into our daily work.
As part of the training, we are deepening our expertise in:
- launching and supporting cluster initiatives in the region’s priority sectors;
- developing service models for businesses and cluster participants;
- strategic planning for the development of clusters as elements of the regional economy;
- attracting investments, partnerships, and international technical assistance through cluster formats;
- strengthening the role of clusters in economic recovery and enhancing the region’s competitiveness.
The Agency’s team will use the knowledge and tools gained to shape cluster policy in the Odesa region, supporting existing and new clusters, developing industrial parks and innovation ecosystems, as well as in recovery projects where cooperation between businesses and local communities is critically important.

Ahead lie regular sessions, practical case studies, and collaboration with colleagues from across Ukraine on the development of cluster initiatives capable of creating added value and sustainable economic impact for the regions.
The Clusters4Regions initiative is being implemented by the Ukrainian Cluster Alliance at the request of the Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine, with support from the Swiss-Ukrainian project “Cohesion and Regional Development of Ukraine” (UCORD Project).
